​Payment Plans (30 Days Maximum)

​

Payment plans must be requested in advance and approved by Exquisite Geckos. There is no automatic eligibility for payment plans based on order amount. A payment plan is a privilege, not a right, and approval is granted at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to refuse a payment plan request for any reason.

By entering a payment plan, the buyer agrees to all terms outlined below.

1) Required Deposit

A 35% non-refundable deposit is required to initiate any payment plan. No animal will be placed on hold until the deposit has been received.

​

2) Maximum Timeline

Payment plans will not exceed 30 days from the date the deposit is received. No exceptions.

​

3) Bi-Weekly Payments Required

At least one bi-weekly payment is required during the 30-day period, in addition to the deposit, on the agreed-upon dates.

​

4) Default and Cancellation

If the buyer fails to make a required bi-weekly payment or fails to complete the full balance by Day 30, the payment plan will be considered in default. In the event of default:

The order will be cancelled

The gecko will be relisted immediately

No refunds will be issued for any amount paid

5) Forfeited Payments

The buyer understands and agrees that upon default:

Missing a bi-weekly payment results in loss of the 35% deposit and cancellation of the order

Failure to complete payment by Day 30 results in forfeiture of the deposit and all installment payments, retained to compensate for care, holding time, and the potential loss of another buyer during the hold period​

6) Future Eligibility

Buyers who default on a payment plan will not be eligible for future payment plans with Exquisite Geckos.

7) No Refunds

ZERO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN on payment plans, including deposits and installment payments, except where required by law.

8) Communication & Documentation

Payment deadlines are firm. If a buyer claims an exceptional circumstance, valid documentation may be required at our discretion. Failure to meet payment deadlines will still result in default as outlined above.

Payment Methods & Policies

​

Exquisite Geckos accepts approved payment methods only. All payments and payment options are subject to the terms below. By submitting payment, the buyer agrees to these policies in full.

Afterpay / Buy Now, Pay Later

Afterpay is not enabled by default. Buyers must message Exquisite Geckos directly to request approval.

Afterpay may be approved only for trusted buyers

Approval is not guaranteed and is granted at the sole discretion of Exquisite Geckos

There is no automatic eligibility, regardless of order amount

Abuse of Buy Now, Pay Later services or failed payments may result in loss of eligibility for future purchases or payment options.

Cash Payments (In-Person Pickup Only)

Cash is accepted only for in-person pickup.​

Cash cannot be used to place animals on hold

Payment must be made in full at the time of pickup, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing

Chargebacks & Disputes

Due to the nature of live animal sales, PayPal Business payments are not accepted.

By submitting payment, the buyer agrees not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes for deposits, payment plan installments, or completed purchases, except where required by law.

Any chargeback or payment dispute filed in violation of these terms will be considered a breach of this agreement and may result in:

Immediate cancellation of the order

Permanent loss of deposit and any payments made

Ineligibility for future purchases

Submission of documentation to the payment processor to dispute the chargeback

Exquisite Geckos reserves the right to pursue recovery of disputed funds where permitted by law.
